Vision
We have known, trusted and respected each other for more than 25 years, and have the same vision for our practice — a dedication to practicing law with integrity and professionalism, an insistence on producing the highest quality work product, and the leveraging of over 60 years of combined counseling, litigation and trial experience to effectively help our clients. We have practiced in Silicon Valley our entire careers and have a deep appreciation for the creativity, inventiveness, and entrepreneurship that have made this area known throughout the world. We bring the same intensity, focus, and craftsmanship to our work whether our client is a large public company, a small business, or an individual.
History
Miclean Gleason LLP was formed in 2011 by Dave Miclean and Gary Gleason after an extended lunch meeting at Marvin Gardens restaurant in Belmont. Dave and Gary both came from big firm trial/litigation backgrounds and wanted to practice with a more relationship-focused approach with clients, while providing nimble execution of excellent work product, and practical and efficient solutions to client’s legal issues and problems. The firm focuses on intellectual property (trade secret, trademark, copyright, and patent), business, and employment matters and cases, but our skills and experience apply to a wide range of legal challenges. We get to know your business first-hand, work with you or your in-house counsel to plot a strategy and pay attention to the things that matter. We promptly return your phone calls and emails and know the details of your case or matter when you contact us. We make recommendations and provide information for informed decisions, not just compile a list of options. We take pride in our work, and the work product we create. Having handled many matters from an initial dispute, through litigation, discovery, dispute resolution, trial and appeal, we also bring practical experience and an extensive knowledge base to the benefit of our clients.
